WheelRoom
Ceramic Design Studio

At WheelRoom, ceramics is perceived as a creative laboratory for exploring color, texture, and shape, allowing the material to reveal its wild, visual identity. Embracing the role of inventors, the artists engage in experimental trial-and-error processes, celebrating the joy of new discoveries. They aim for the inherent potential of the material to guide their creations, nurturing unique visual experiences.
Partners in both life and art, Uri and Ayelet graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem in 2008 and established WheelRoom in 2012. Since its inception, the studio has offered an ongoing workshop, allowing students to pursue personal projects while refining their ceramic skills and expanding their creative range. More recently, WheelRoom has introduced one-time sessions for painting on the studio’s porcelain designs.
