Lamington TLV

The Lamington dice come to us from Australia, but who are they really registered to? Depends on who you ask.

The story begins at the end of the 19th century in the home of Lord Charles Lamington, Governor of Queensland, Australia, when unexpected guests came to visit.

Armand Galland, who was the lord's cook at the time, was called at short notice to immediately make a dessert from what he found in the kitchen: French vanilla cakes baked the day before, which he dipped in chocolate and rolled in coconut. It was so successful that the guests asked for the recipe.

Another story claims that the origin of the Helamington is entirely accidental: one of the housekeepers accidentally dropped the lord's favorite vanilla cake into a bowl of chocolate sauce. And the Lord, who did not like wasting food, suggested dipping the cake cubes in coconut, so that the guests would not dirty their fingers.

What is the real version? Until we get a time machine, I'm not sure we'll know, but because of Girl Power and Beyoncé, etc., we'll choose the version of the household worker, because that's what we decided. Actually, wait, we decided to promote her in the position and from now on she will be known as the chef in Lord Lamington's house.

Unlike the original lamingtons, our lamingtons come in a selection of different flavors , all of which have gone through a lot of trial and error, the ganache -based chocolate sauces from high-quality chocolate and the nut pastes (which are so delicious that you'll want to eat them with a spoon) are made by us, in our lamington kitchen. We can assure you, even if you've tasted a real Australian mama's lamington - you're in for a tasty surprise!
